How can I reuse or recycle chalk?

chalkLast week, the incredibly eloquent “matheus” left a question in the comment section on our of our posts:

how the f*ck do i recycle chalk?

As someone with a penchant for using 100 words when three will do, I like his succinctness.

So suggestions?

Chalk works well to deter ants from marching all over your house in the spring. Draw a heavy chalk line around the perimeter of a room or cabinets, wherever they are entering the room, they don’t like to cross it. It’s non-toxic and easy to clean up when not needed anymore.

one chalk is not fully used by user.the small piece from each chalks are being wasted in class rooms, because when the chalk become small it is not comfortable to hold and use.My question is “why not,we cant create new chalk from those small chalk pieces?by recycling”.one chalk price might be 5rs,if we make this,we can reduce the cost and aas well as wastages!
thn is it possible to recycl the small chalks to new one?
