Look at www.lakelovers.co.uk and go to "Solstice Cottage" to see louvre doors used as shutters in the picture of the bathroom. It's a superb holiday cottage.

Check us out at www.anyjunk.co.uk We collect junk, but we make sure that over 70% is recycled or reused! Good luck with your louvre doors!

this immediately sprang to mind and I knew someone else would have thought of it to: http://eatingetc.blogspot.com/2007/12/shutter-earring-holder.html

I am guessing it would work well for storing belts, ties, scarves etc too. But that only uses up one.

I have used these louvred doors for a patio decoration/privacy screen. Hinge them for stability to stand on their own and you can join them for height. Also you can use material remnants stapled to the back (leave pocket fold space) letters, mail, or even CD's can be then stored through the slots, the material doesn't show and the discs "magically" sit. Just make sure you make the folds even so it looks nice. Just hang the shutter on the wall and you have functioning art!
