I don't know if something like this works for the Nespresso machine, but it would be a great way to cut down on waste. I haven't personally used one, but I've heard that they work just fine. We can't afford the cups but we can afford to use the "Perfect Pod Maker" with pod converter and make our own pods. It gets our cost down from around .50 cents to .20 cents. Since my hubby and I like our coffee made differently it suits us (except for cost) Just google Perfect Pod Maker.
