		<description>It is not the best solution, but anything is better than polystyrene. My sister and her friends used balloons in their beanbags. Only they only partially inflated them so they were still comfy to sit on, then if they pop or deflate a little it is easier to add more and the beanbag keeps its shape better than when the polystyrene balls disintegrate.</description>

		<description>As for replacements for the polystyrene beads. For something that is far more eco-friendly try popcorn! We have used this for packaging as both loose and packed into recyclable/reusable bags to protect fragile items in transit and I think it would hold up pretty well as a bean bag substitute.</description>

		<description>The insulation value of these beads is very good and the fact that they are small would mean they could be placed into a long sock (suitably decorated) and used as a draught excluder along the bottom of doors.</description>
