You could purchase pink scrapbook pages to cover them up.

With Valentine's Day coming up, many sales circulars will be very pink. You can use them for the junk mail art discussed above.

You could also paint sturdy used containers (empty cereal boxes, bleach bottles, etc.) or cover them with the pink circulars. (Cereal boxes are good for magazines.)

Funny, I'm doing the very same thing with my daughter's room. One thing I'm working on is an idea I found on Apartment Therapy. It's an idea on turning junk mail into art. You can't get much more pink than a Limited Too (now Justice) catalog. I have been cutting out tear-dropped shapes in the colors and patterns that will coordinate, and then I'll place them in a pleasing pattern in a frame you already have. Modern, pink art for free!!

One of my favorite blogs (The Nesting Place) has instructions for a shabby-chic garland made from fabric scraps. You can use old clothes that your daughter already has, or cheap-o ones from Goodwill: http://nestingplacenc.blogspot.com/2008/04/ragamuffin-memo-garland.html
