Kids love popping the bubbles, one by one. Might be a nice activity for a kid if they go along to a boring, long adult event. Those tiny popping noises are still preferable to the racket of a whining child.

I work at a book publisher. We are always sending out review copies of books. Instead of buying ready-made insulated envelopes, we pack books first in recycled bubble wrap and then place them in a normal paper envelope. This saves money and reuses the bubble wrap.

The smaller bits can be used as stuffing for boxes - a lot like you would use packing peanuts. While it's not wrapping an item, it's still cushioning

My son and I are making a recycled marble maze -- with tubes and different things attached to a board. In theory the marbles will run through the maze. Anyhow, we don't have any bubble wrap pieces but some small ones would look great wrapped around the cardboard tubes for our maze. Brighten it up some. I guess I'm saying kid projects.

if you're into creative decorating, i've seen people paint bubble wrap (the bubbly side) with acrylic paint and use it as a stamp to put cool patterns on cards, wrapping paper, etc.

The preschool my children attends use bubble wrap as sort of a "snow" stamp.

Just paint the bumps white and press onto the paper.

you could use it as a funky mat/background for some photos you have. Try glueing some colored paper behind or magazine cut outs to make some homemade decorations.

Our cats love bubble wrap. Put two pieces together like a pillow case with something bright in between. Tape the edges with strong tape such as duck tape and let the cats play with it. They especially love the large pieces to sleep on! (I don't know what appeals to them about such things--they also curl up on plastic bags, wrapping paper, knocked down boxes...)

Well those small 3x4 pieces of bubble wrap are good for baby crafts ( sound inserts for soft toys and teddy bears) Also I find that the insulating qualities of the plastic good for starting seedlings(it's clear)so it may be slightly unpleasant to look at but it is a solution for the size and of course it is durable/reusable to some extent, so the delicate seedlings don't get damaged, so many times of usage and many seasons. also if you have those 6pack plastic bottle/can holders and really want a hammock the little squares would add some comfort to the thing stitched together well treat it like any nylon product and you have more uses thing is that may some more time on your part(use speed stitch it won't leave holes) otherwise I am at a loss to help you on this thing
