I saw some really cool french furniture covered in comics then a clear laquer has been put ontop see the old cinema wesite.

If you still have those old movie posters….may I suggest the following?

Would you kindly send the posters to me? I, in turn, have a friend in “the business” who can obtain signatures from the stars in those posters. The posters are then donated to my local Humane Society to be used as a fund-raising vehicle for items/funds desperately needed. You, in turn, will receive a tax write off for the donation as they are a 503 C corporation. Everybody wins.

students love old posters to decorate their apartments, they will be charged $ if they hang a regular framed picture using nails.

I’d also suggest eBay, Freecycle, etc, because people will reprint posters of movies they liked to get them.

That said, if they’re for movies that weren’t very good, they can make festive wrapping paper!

Ebay would be my first suggestion, but if youd don’t want to make loads of money, i’m sure they would make interesting collages.

Seriously, DON’T RECYCLE THEM. They are worth A LOT OF MONEY. Sell them on eBay, and I guarantee that you will be able to raise a lot of money for other crafty projects.

Thanks Trish and Andy for your ideas. I’m looking more towards doing something crafty with them. We already have dozens framed on our walls, especially old horror movie ones. I’m going to look into the bag idea and maybe cards and notebook covers. Any more ideas?
