How can I reuse or recycle … pumpkins?
A bit of an obvious one considering the date.
So presumably people scooped out the seeds for eating/planting, and made soups or pies or other yummy things from the flesh before carving the skin into a lantern — but what can be done with the outer casing afterwards?
Obviously it’s a firm contender for the compost heap […]

How can I reuse or recycle … a fur coat?
We’ve had an email from “the Cleworths”, asking a rather interesting question:
A family member died and we are left with a fur coat that charity shops won’t take and neither will any period clothing outlets.
Any advice as how to pass this on other than taking to dump?

How can I reuse or recycle … rusty tools?
We’ve had an email from Janet:
I’ve been clearing out my dad’s old shed and it is FULL of rusty old tools. Help! What should I do with them!
I guess it depends how “rusty” you mean by “rusty” - if it’s not very, a local community group (say an allotment group if they’re gardening tools) […]

How can I reuse or recycle … a crooked bike wheel?
